Non-metal crown
Metal free crowns are the most modern substitute which primary advantage is superior aesthetics. Today’s materials and technologies enable their use in the posterior segment. The amount of tissue that must be removed is 1-1.2 mm in the longitudinal areas by the reduction of 2 mm. Endocrown is a substitute that is made in the case of treated tooth which is removed and lacking the pulp and a considerable amount of hard tissue. The requirement of making is a properly conducted endodontic therapy and sufficient preservation of teeth. It represents an alternative to making upgrades and crowns. It is made of ceramic and since the modern technique of attaching provides excellent relationship with the tooth, it is not need to anchor in the root canal.
Veneers
Aesthetic correction of teeth are a special challenge for the modern dental practice. The beauty and naturalness are the dominant characteristics that an aesthetic substitute must have. The aesthetic correction should well evaluate the ratio between the stake and the results obtained. Since biological saving is the basic postulate that constitutes serious dental treatment, a large removal of tooth structure to achieve aesthetics is not an optimal solution. “Less is more”, that is the minimum stake for the ultimate aesthetic result is the secret of success and ethical approach. Shells are substitutes that are made on the visible surfaces of teeth to correct the irregularities of color, shape and / or position of individual teeth or to make a smile better as a whole. For their preparation minimal removal of tooth structure is necessary (0.4-0.8 mm).

Inlay, onlay, overlay
In the case of loss of a certain amount of hard tissue, reconstruction may be conservative if there applies the usage of fillings. For greater precision and better design, fillings can be made in laboratory. Today’s modern technology of computer drafting and machining of metal-free ceramic restorations offer optimum accuracy which is the basic prerequisite for the success of treatment that eliminates all the disadvantages of a conservative resolution of the composite “white” fillings. Depending on whether they cover part of the chewing surfaces, the greater part or the entire surface distinguish inlay, onlay and overlay.
