Resection is the surgical removal of the top of the tooth root and presents the pathological process whether it was a granuloma or cyst. Interventions such as apicotomy enable us to repair and preserve the teeth that can not be cured by conservative therapy and would otherwise have to be removed. In the event of failure of curing the tooth root (endodontics) in the rehabilitation of chronic granuloma, it is recommended the resection or removal of the root tip. After removing the top of the tooth root canal is filled and thus is completely closed. Charging is mostly carried out through the crown of the tooth, and in some cases, even over the top of the shortened tooth root.
Patients often are not even aware of the wisdom tooth in the mouth because they do not bother and do not hurt. During the eruption, wisdom teeth can cause pericoronitis or inflammation of the gums. Sometimes it’s enough just to clense them but if the process complicates, there is the need of surgical tooth extraction.
The causes of cysts themselves are different, but the prerequisite is the formation of epithelial tissue from which later a cyst is being developed. Epithelial cells proliferate as a result of impact or inflammation which afterwords leads to the formation of cracks. If at this stage nothing is done cyst continues to grow. One part of the cyst or the entire cyst can be surgically removed.

Ridge Augmentation is an important procedure in dentistry as it allows an aesthetically and functionally acceptable prosthetic implants supply. The irregularities of the alveolar ridge in the upper and lower jaws may result in an insufficient amount of bone required for implant placement. Such imperfections can be caused by periodontal disease, wearing dentures, developmental defects or injuries.
